Desktop aku untuk bulan May, of course inspirasi daripada cover album Beatles. (image ni bukan aku yang buat pun, search google image)

Untuk pengetahuan korg, aku tak guna 'Start Button' yg ada dalam Windows Vista, aku guna RocketDocks untuk start application, yang aku suka guna dia sbb bole diubahsuai ikut citarasa korang, skin pun bole, tambah add on lain bole, Start button tu pun aku dah buang (guna Startkiller), cariklah mana ada kan? Heheh, aku guna Google Desktop utk ganti Vista Sidebar and Windows Search.

Bercakap pasal google search ni, ada satu lagi search engine yg baru, Wolfram Alpha, (jangan dikonfius dgn wolfram and Hart, tu citer Angel) still in beta (or is it alpha?) stage, still it's kinda impressive. Bagi je la apa2 soalan dalam bentuk ayat atau formula, dia akan terjemahkan dan bagi jawapan untuk korang. Cuba korang type 55km/h, tengok apa jawapan dia, kinda geeky gak.

Tapi search engine ni buat aku teringat pasal Skynet, bukan courier company tu tapi komputer yang dalam citer Terminator tu. Bukan ke semua start macam ni? Kita reka sistem2 yg hebat2 kemudian dia turn evil and decided human being tu mesti dihapuskan? Get ready la for Armageddon.

it's my birthday and I can (insert verb here) if I want to.

I wasn't really expecting much for my birthday (even though I keep on giving hints, I was just playing around) this year. In fact every year I usually like to keep it low. This year was no exception, but somehow my wife really made it spectacular (whether intentionally or not :) )

16 May 2009 11 am'ish

Went to Midvalley for the 'Backyard Monsters and Dinosaur' exhibition. Paid RM12 each for the event but I was sorely disappointed, really, really disappointed. The event was only in 1 hall and there wasn't any shows or movies or anything. Just some mechanical robots with dinosaur skins, moving jerkily. Stupid organiser. Iklan berapi.

Maybe it was my fault for didn't properly check out the response from the net, blogs and all.
Nahhhh, the organiser was wrong.

But we didn't properly checking out all of the so called 'monster' cause Indah was scared of them, though she was over that phase. Seems I was wrong though.

This rhino beetle was the first thing that greets us. One of my fav.

My favorite, STEGOSAURUS! Muka jahat tapi hati baik. It is a herbivore.

The Present

FYI, it took almost 6 hours for Lissa and I to choose my birthday present. Initially it was going to be a psp, then found out the price was too high for psp 2000, better wait when they crack psp 3000. Got built in mic and proper skype and colorful too. Go pirates, arrr matey.

Then we go for a PS3, although the price is high but we believe it's a great investment (media center, blu ray player.) but all the shops was giving different price range, even got one who tried to cheat us, multi region my ass!

Next, we thought may a videogame console was not a good idea, so I suggest and Ipod Touch. An 8gb version just cost around RM900++. Wi Fi, movie, music, and looks yummy too, but still, no go.

So in essence my birthday was enjoyable, tired but damn if i'm not happy, which Iam. Thanks to my lovely wifey for her extreme patient.

Whoa, totally forgotten to update on my birthday celebration (not that it's that interesting. On second thought, yes, yes it is).

It's not fully my fault as much as was situational. Like a comedy, my every steps and action will be punctuated by various missteps and walls and problems and mindless, stupid, reckless abandonment.


And also, I tend to be forgetful.

Maybe it's natures's way of telling me that i'm old. Not older, just plain ol' OLD. Ok, maybe I should just stand in the corner and weep now.



Meh...nothing can stop me from enjoying my life, even if i'm not living it to the fullest. Who says what is fullest anyways? Maybe they were talking about food and eating. If that is so then i'm already on my way.


Hahaha.


p/s: I'll try to upload more pictures and write (I should've type TYPE, not write) more about the birthday celebration when I back home and can remember where I put the camera cable.
